Monday Musings

Can't believe it is July 2nd already!  Where in the world did the month of June go????  I always look at July 4th as the turning point of summer--everything is downhill and moving fast after that.  School is starting super early this year (August 9th) with DIBELS Next training and I'm already stressing about not being ready!!!

Today my BFF Sherry and I went shopping and I did pick up a few things for school.  I found Rory's Story Cubes that someone raved about at Walgreens.

I think these will be great to get the story juices flowing at the beginning of the school year and then I'll put them in my writing station.

Next stop was the Dollar Tree (every teachers favorite store!) where Sherry shopped for her new lia sophia business and I cruised for for these goodies:

The microfiber mitts were a pin from Pinterest - use them to erase a white board. How smart is that - no dust floating around!

I have a multitude of uses for the word strips from fluency phrases to word wall words. Students LOVE to use them to label STUFF, too.

And, I thought the reward stickers were super cute but not sure what I'll use them for yet. Maybe put them in my Rock Star bags for my "Rock Star of the Week."


Not a whole lot out yet for back to school, so definitely more trips in my future!
